Rooted in the feeling of longing for home, Mahålang is a visual love letter to Guåhan. Through this collection, the artist reflects on what home means, what it feels like, and how deeply it lives within us, whether we are here on island or carrying it with us from afar.
The word mahålang speaks to yearning, deep desire, and homesickness. Inspired by the many stories shared by people on and off the island about how much they miss the homeland, this exhibition invites visitors to pause and reconnect with the beauty of place, memory, and belonging.
As a local artist and a continuing creative partner of Dusit Place, Lost with Luke brings a personal and heartfelt perspective to this second solo exhibition. Each image serves as a reminder of where we come from, what grounds us, and the deep connection many carry for Guåhan.
We invite the community to join us for the opening night and experience this special showcase.
